During the summer months, there will be KidsChoir which is for ages 4 to grade 2 during this service following KidTalk.

THANK YOU PASTOR WERTZ!
CTK is grateful to Pastor John Wertz for the many years he has served as our minister. We will surely miss him and wish hm a happy and healthy retirement!
4th OF JULY CELEBRATION AND PASTOR WERTZ RETIREMENT
Bring your friends and family to CTK on July 6 as we celebrate the 4th of July with one worship service at 10:00 am in the sanctuary followed by a celebration honoring Pastor Wertz and a potluck brunch in Ludder Fellowship Hall. Dress casual in your red, white and blue as we worship God and celebrate our country’s freedom and many blessings. Ham, turkey, BBQ pork sandwiches and hot dogs will be provided, along with beverages and ice cream sundaes for dessert. Please bring a casserole, salad, fruit or vegetable side dish to share.
JOIN IN LEARNING ABOUT ANCIENT HEBREW TRADITIONS AND THE TORAH
Professor John Fitzgerald will be leading a series entitled “Ancient Hebrew Traditions and the Torah” during the 9 am Educational Hour. Everyone is invited to participate and learn. The group will meet in classroom 11. To find out more, please visit the Adult Sunday Education page.
HELP SUPPORT OUR TROOPS – OPERATION THANK YOU
The Miami-Dade Chapter of Thrivent Financial is partnering with our Lutheran congregations, other churches, and community organizations and schools to remember the military service members who are serving our country. Operation This wonderful project will continue through June 30, 2008. You can help by contributing “wish list” items for the care packages. Following are some of the most desired items from our troops’ wish lists: Beef Jerky, Tooth Paste, Oreos, Tooth Brush, Microwave Popcorn, Batteries, Hard Candy, andPhone Cards. Cash contributions are also needed to help with the shipping. A list of other suggestions will be on the table at the Serving Commission table. A box will be available to collect your donations.
