Interim Pastor -
The Reverend John Manrodt
Rev. Dr. Manrodt is an ordained Lutheran Pastor and a Fellow with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. He is a graduate of Loyola College of Maryland and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He completed his residency in pastoral Counseling at the Pastoral Counseling and Education Center of Dallas, Texas and became a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors in 1993. In 2001, he received his D.Min. from the Florida Center for Theological Studies. Pastor Manrodt has served congregations in Maryland, Illinois, Texas and Florida.
Pastor Manrodt joined the CTK staff as a pastoral associate in 2006. He serves the congregation part-time in the areas of pastoral care and adult education. He is under call from the synod council of the Florida-Bahamas Synod of the ELCA to the Counseling Ministry of South Florida, a Samaritan center, where he serves as a pastoral counselor and the Executive Director.
He and Susan have been married for 39 years. They have two sons and five beautiful granddaughters.
